As I have gotten more involved in the app world through <a title=\"Jordan Rudess and Morphwiz\" href=\"http:\/\/www.morphwiz.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan Rudess and his awesome app Morphwiz<\/a> I have come to realize nobody has released a great music app for fans. I have downloaded a number of music apps and most are nothing more than simple extensions of a band&#8217;s website; tour dates, photo sharing, buy music, Twitter posts, and news. Usually what happens is once the tour is done I delete the app as the app quickly dies, or I quickly loose interest as I get more engagement through Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>I have not found the ideal app to track all my favorite artists. I would love to see something that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>alerts me to shows<\/li>\n<li>ticket onsales<\/li>\n<li>new releases<\/li>\n<li>tv appearances<\/li>\n<li>radio interviews<\/li>\n<li>newspaper and magazine appearances<\/li>\n<li>new merchandise<\/li>\n<li>accurate set lists<\/li>\n<li>details on shows; such as set times, fan gatherings, ability to buy show recordings<\/li>\n<li>something that brings a new level on interaction at a concert<\/li>\n<li>helps locate fans nearby<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I want something I don&#8217;t have to configure, it just looks at all the artists in my iPod app and automatically sets up the alerts.
