  3. Fitz & The Tantrums – Pickin’ Up The Pieces<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Uriah Heep – Into The Wild<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. George Thorogood – 2120 South Michigan Ave<\/a><\/li>\n
  6. House of Lords – Big Money<\/a><\/li>\n
  7. Dream Theater – A Dramatic Turn of Events<\/a><\/li>\n
  8. Night Ranger – Somewhere In California<\/a><\/li>\n
  9. Social Distortion – Hard Times and Nursery Ryhmes<\/a><\/li>\n
  10. Electric Boys – And Them Boys Done Swang<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here is my list of top music discoveries in 2011. These are old releases I first discovered this year or new bands that got me excited in 2011.<\/p>\n

    1. Edgar Winter Group – They Only Come Out At Night<\/a><\/li>\n
    2. Simon & Garfunkel – Bridge Over Troubled Water<\/a><\/li>\n
    3. 7th Heaven<\/a> – band out of Chicago<\/li>\n
    4. City Boy<\/a> – 70’s band from the UK, similar to Electric Light Orchestra<\/li>\n
    5. Neil Cribbs<\/a> – saw him at a showcase performance and fell in love with his folk music<\/li>\n
    6. The Silver Comet<\/a> – again, saw them at a showcase performance, their show just grabbed me<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
