Looks like a war has started. “Anonymous” has now set their sites on Hustler.com for a DDoS attack. After what happened recently to Gene Simmons I hope Hustler is prepared. In addition I hope every other studio who has lawsuits out there is prepared because they very well could be the next in line.
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — A 4Chan web forum splinter group is planning a DDoS attack on Hustler.com, which recently filed suits targeting more than 5,000 alleged users of BitTorrent networks who downloaded LFP content.
“Anonymous,” a collective of 4Chan hackers who defected to form their own vigilante cell, said the attack is scheduled to occur tomorrow at 1 p.m.
“We are surprised by this announcement by this group,” LFP President Michael Klein said. “Obviously our legal actions against the individuals who have stolen our content are valid.
“Theft of content takes away from the company, performers, studio personnel and make-up artists.”
The planned DDoS attack on Hustler, part of Operation Payback, is titled “Payback is a Bitch” and has called “organized protests against the reign of extreme pro-copyright organizations and watchdogs for the entertainment industries.”
A DDoS, or a distributed denial of service, attack oftentimes involves saturating the targeted server with external communications requests, such that it cannot respond to legitimate traffic, or responds so slowly as to be rendered effectively unavailable.
LFP filed the BitTorrent suits in the past month against unnamed John Does who may have lifted copies off BitTorrent networks. The films related to the suit include “Barely Teenage Schoolgirls #6”, “Barely Legal #100” and “This Aint Avatar XXX.”
In a letter on its DDoS initiatives, Anonymous said its efforts “have been compared to waiting for a train.”
“What must the people do to be heard? To what lengths must they go to have their pleads taken seriously? Must they to take to the streets with noose and handgun gun before those in power take notice?”

scary
Very, it is going to be next to impossible to find them and stop them. Botnets are nasty business.
i know.
I have a link somewhere to the software used and target / date/ time I’ll try and dig it up .. think its on one of the other laptops.
Michael see email .. not posting link to the software and info here
Tony with the toys they have setup on they PC’s this is nothing more then 2 minutes to them.. start PC, load software, enter IP, hit start, go play xbox with all the other 14 year olds..
Not like it takes much effort on their part, basically click start.
And if it is a botnet, they just issue a command to the network of infected PCs and let those PCs do all the work… while playing Xbox.
Tony they do think DDOS is funny – I just don’t want to be the target when they stop laughing..

“Shouldn’t this have moved past the DDoS phase by now? I am 100% in support of this operation, but new tactics are needed. Part of the point of DDoS is to gain issue visibility, while reminding everyone that we do have the manpower, resources, and influence to pull this shit off. But sticking at DDoS makes us look like bawwing skiddies. What happened to ACS: Law was an excellent example of moving beyond. I think scandalizing persons and organizations would be a good step up. Perhaps a fuckton of leaked internal memos is in order. Also, anything to hit them in their wallets. It’d be rather nifty if “Anonymous declares war on…” headlines could actually make a company’s stocks tank. “
That is one name that could be used I can think of many more colorful ones.
