I think we all can pick a favorite band a match up their albums to the infographic below.

I would add a couple more releases:

The album they recorded to impress the critics and reviewers.
The album they recorded when popular music changed and they jumped on the bandwagon.
The album they recorded with a symphony orchestra.

Fantastic summary of so many rock ‘n roll careers.
You could add “The four solo albums they recorded during their hiatus.”
