While in college radio at KGMA at Mankato State University I did a phone interview with Poison lead singer Bret Michaels shortly after their debut album Look What The Cat Dragged In was released. Bret discusses their touring at the time, filming of videos, the history and influence of the band and more. This might be the first time it has been heard.
Please leave comments and let me know what you think.
Note there is about eight seconds of silence at the start of the recording.
Interview with Poison lead singer Bret Michaels, April 17, 1987 Part One – 22 Minutes. Part two of this interview will be posted next week.
This is cool..still deciding if I’m more proud of my Paul Stanley interview or one of the countless other ones that went well, oh ok
PAUL STANLEY!!!!!!!!!!!! He made me an answering machine message and the interview wound up in the KISS Army Worldwide Book!!
Thanks a lot for posting, this is very interesting.
Not sure if those “Europe” shows ever happened in the summer of 1987, I doubt as I never heard about that.
