I was going to avoid saying anything about the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame this year, after they once again ignored KISS and many other worthy rock bands. But, no surprise so much is being said by others. Well here is my take and advice…
By now everyone should know the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame is a joke, is does not represent what the fans want. Fans have ZERO say in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. It is all decided upon behind the scenes by a small group of industry people and music critics. All of your protests and petitions will have ZERO impact. The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame does not have to listen to them and will not listen to them. It is now time to save your breath. By that I mean lets stop saying anything about the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, ignore them completely.
The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame knows damn well that every year they are going to get KISS fans, and the fans of other bands, up in arms when they once again omit KISS and other bands. They know that fans will scream. Fans will protest. Fans will petition. Newspapers, magazines and blogs will write articles. Radio and TV will will do stories and discuss. And guess what… that is all great, and free, promotion for the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Promotion they need. There is a saying that goes something like… you can love me or you can hate me, but just don’t stop talking about me. All press is great press, just spell my name right.
Understand that you can’t do a damn thing to change the minds of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, and at this point they are probably laughing at how upset you get. So the time has come to STOP TALKING ABOUT THE ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FAME. Go silent. Don’t do a damn thing related to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Turn your backs on the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, they do not exist.
Tell other fans to do the same. Pass this article around, repost this article. Ignore the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.

I told you! This was what I was screaming last year, (when this same topic was raised).
The institution is a joke. At this stage, it is more of an honor *not* to be included. My favorite HOF moment was when the Sex Pistols got inducted and they wrote a letter telling them to fuck off and they’d never want to be part of their hypocritical, lame-ass institution. They wrote the letter in crayon just to add final insult.
If KISS ever did finally get in, I’d love it if they did exactly the same thing!
