It is your band and you can do whatever you want. But, wow it must really suck when you send out a little update and it virally spreads through the media and social networks. Terrible that people are paying attention and care about what you say. So many bands would kill to be in this position and someone who is decides to stop talking.

This is hysterical! However, Gene is very business savvy. So, my guess is there is a bigger strategy behind this – Or, (less likely) he just completely clueless. Time will tell, but knowing Gene – This is part of a much bigger strategy!
