You are releasing a new album and you are going to write about it on your website, Facebook, Twitter, etc. You need to think about the headline and the body of the post when it comes to getting good search results.
Good Title – Amanda Abizaid releases her new EP Be In Love on October 15th.
Bad Title – I released my new EP today.
Good Body Content – Today Amanda Abizaid releases her latest EP Be In Love. You can purchase and download Be In Love from Apple iTunes and Amazon…
Bad Body Content – I released my new EP today and you can buy it online at any of your favorite websites…
See the difference? You need to write how fans would be searching for your album and for what Google would see. Nobody goes to Google and searches for “new EP” they search for “Amanda Abizaid new EP”, “Amanda Abizaid Be In Love”. When Google sees the phrase “new EP”, that means nothing. The specific artist name and EP name mean much more and will help you get better ranking in search results.
Think about how you search on Google and try to write to match what you search for.
