Exact date of this interview is not know, but it would be around mid 1998. I am not even sure this interview was every posted as it occurred just before I stopped work on KISS Otaku and started working on Kissonline.
Sean Delaney, the fifth KISS member, discusses the book he had just started on. He talks about pre-KISS, the solo albums, how he got involved with Peter Criss’ solo album and more.

it sounds like the book was almost done.. It never came out, did it?
I think the book Hellbox is what it became.
Hellbox was a quick and interesting read but seemed more like a loose outline for a more in-depth book. The stories in it are not well thought through and more or less sound like verbatim transcript of taped notes. The editing is kind of horrendous ….but whatever.
I thought Lydia’s book was pretty great and actually backed up some of the things Sean wrote about.
Yeah, I bought it in ’04. Excellent book. Sean was more integral to early KISS than I think many fans realize.
