This tip is short and simple. Whenever you update your Facebook cover image or Facebook profile image remember to add a description to the image. Your fans are going to like, share and comment on the images and you should include a little bit of copy related to the image. If the image is your album cover think about including your band name, album title, release date and link to purchase. If the image is to promote some tour dates think about including your band name, tour name, list of dates if possible, link to your tour date, link to purchase tickets.
You might be surprised how many people do not do this, since when you upload a new cover or profile image Facebook doesn’t immediately give you the option to add a description. You need click on the image after it has been uploaded and click on EDIT to add the description.
