My first challenge of 2012 was posting a Photo A Day, not too difficult. My second challenge for 2012 is posting a Video A Week, a bit more difficult. I put one big restriction on both challenges…
1. Must be captured, edited and posted using only a smartphone. A iPhone in my case.
I want to show how you can capture content for posting to your site with nothing more than your smartphone.
Today I posted my first Video A Week entitled How To Capture And Post A Photo A Day With Your Smartphone. This talks about my initial experience posting a Photo A Day.
Here is a list of what is involved for capturing and posting a Photo A Day.
- Post a photo once a day.
- Post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and website.
- Use only a smartphone to create and post.
- Instagram app.
- WordPress app.
- Camera app.
Next week the video will discuss the experience around posting a Video A Week.

Hi Mic, Tamal here and my first time commenting. I like 2012 and believe that it will bring in some great things. I took a challenge too, I want to account each of my day in a journal (diary) Its DAY 13 today and when I read my writings from day 1 or 2 I see WOW I did that?
Also from this year I have started doing workouts, nothing much just 10 minute full body workouts. Makes me healthy. A commitment such as yours, 1 pic a day or 1 video a week keeps you motivated and never loose track of it. Sorry bro, my net is going crazy so in this time I cannot watch your vid, but will do the next time I get here 😀
Hey Michael… Do you know a good instagram substitute for Android? I’ve tried a few like Mobli and nothing really gets the job done effectively.
I don’t use Android but I can search.
Don’t go to the trouble. 🙂 I just thought you might have heard about one from the bands you’re working with. 🙂
