I am excited to announce that I’ll be spearheading Greg Kihn’s website development and social networking strategy in conjunction with Christopher Buttner’s PRThatRocks.com agency, Greg’s longtime publicist, who brought in me in to work with the rest of the Greg Kihn team; manager Joel Turtle, co-manager Skyler Turtle and the Entercom Communications promotions staff.
Greg Kihn is known for his chart-topping songs and MTV videos, “Jeopardy,” and “The Breakup Song (They Don’t Write ‘Em Like That),” from his records featuring titles based on puns of his name, such as Next of Kihn, Rockihnroll, Kihnspiracy, Citizen Kihn, Kihntinued, and Unkihntrollable.
Greg has been the longtime #1 morning man on KFOX 98.5 and now 102.1 Classic Rock Radio in San Jose, California. Actually, he’s probably one of the longest reigning FM radio morning men in the radio industry at 16-plus years on the same station.
Well, KFOX was recently purchased by Entercom Communications and now Greg is broadcasting out of his San Francisco studio to the third largest radio market in the USA. Every morning he’s heard from Santa Rosa in Sonoma County all the way south to San Jose and into Santa Cruz.
Today, March 10, Greg was not only featured on the cover of the San Jose Metroactive, Silicon Valley’s leading alt weekly, but it’s their annual Best of Silicon Valley issue, which features the best of the best of everything in the South Bay… including Greg, who is called the Best Morning Radio Personality of the year.
In addition, it turns out that Greg is really ‘enchanting.’ Greg was recently mentioned in an interview with marketing guru Guy Kawasaki on the subject of ‘Enchantment.’ ‘Enchantment’ is a marketing term that Guy coined. “Enchantment” is synonomous to realism, sincerity, honesty and authenticity in marketing… Well, Guy finds Greg “very enchanting.”

Additionally, Greg has a new three-disc digital release of remastered, hard to find releases, Kihnplete (Post Beserkley Records). Did you know that Joe Satriani was the lead guitarist in the Greg Kihn Band in the mid-80’s? Order Kihnplete now… in whole or in part (the latter would be inKihnplete). Greg’s six novels will be digitized and available for Kindle and iPad soon, plus much, much more.
In the meantime, please follow Greg Kihn on his Twitter feed the Facebook Fanpage for Greg’s radio show and the Greg Kihn Facebook Fanpage,
This is going to be a fun project, stay tuned… to be Kihntinued.

Fantastic news Michael. I know Mr. Kihn will love what you will do for him and his band! Cannot wait to see you work your magic.
