In this MUST LISTEN episode Chief talks with the Music Biz Weekly podcast for over an hour about how Nickelback succeeded as a DIY band.

Chief has 18 years experience in the music industry, during his early days at a Vancouver music studio, Chief began working with members of now world-renowned group Nickelback, who were just getting started. After forming a connection and mixing sound for the band, Chief became a mainstay in the partnership as Nickelback’s audio engineer, and toured the world as their sound engineer and tour manager for 11 years. Chief’s reputation as a tour manager had sent him out in 2011 with one of the most talked of celebrities, Charlie Sheen on his North American comedy tour. He then worked with the top 8 contestants from NBC’s reality TV show “The Voice.” on a tour hitting the major cities across the USA. He will continue to work tour managing for Nickelback, with an upcoming “Here and Now” tour for 2012, along side of My Darkest Days, Seether and Bush.
