I want to only write about music marketing, but I can’t. I have to do more than what I love. I have to install software, configure websites, configure email accounts, I have to manage web servers, deal with MySQL databases, send out invoices, chase down money, teach musicians how to use a computer, and list can go on and on.
We all have to do things that we don’t always want to do, but we do these things because it actually helps with doing what we do love.
Why should you only have to write and play music?

Truer now than ever . . .
Agreed. I’m a musician and I work my tail off every week to be able to reap what I’ve sewn for albums and gigs. I truly want to document the time and effort put in to making this “business” work.
I often say that I have a job that supports my music.
